A traveller who has come to Babyl Moon Station in search of their father – a researcher investigating a new kind of element that only exists on this one moon at the edge of explored space.

But communication stopped several months ago, and now Zero has joined the exploration team sent to find out what has happened to the people of this remote research commune.

Equipped with a personal translation device of their father’s design, he will have to learn the language of the people in order to help solve the mystery and restore balance to this beautiful, strange world.

The Explorer
Helios is your guide when you first arrive on Babyl Moon Station.
He’s come here on a research contract to investigate the strange occurrences that have been reported.
Hungry for knowledge and incredibly curious, his ambition will take you both into the heart of danger in this new world.

Penny

The Chef
Boisterous and chaotic, Penny runs the famous Porkchop Express: Babyl Moon Station’s most prestigious eatery.
She’s always in search of new and creative culinary adventures, and her creations will help the party with healing and various other effects.
Before the infestation, she had dreamed of expanding her restaurant into a franchise. Maybe Zero can help her out?

Rose

The Dreamer
A lover, not a fighter, who has been thrust into conflict against her wishes.
She hopes every day for a peaceful end to the infestation, and turns her emotional turmoil into stunning works of art to inspire her community.
It’s easy to mistake her optimism for naivety, but her heart beats strong and true for those she loves and she will never back down when it comes to protecting them.

Shai

The Peoples’ Champion
A descendant of the original research party who settled on Babyl Moon.
When the extraterrestrial presence began to take over, he took it upon himself to defend his people and rose to high status among them as a hero of the alien conflict.
He sees Zero as a rival, but over time will warm up to the party and accept working as part of a team.

Clutch

The Joker
Easygoing and always quick with a joke, Clutch has a deep love of the natural world and cares more than anything for restoring the ecosystem of Babyl Moon to balance.
Since the infestation took hold he’s become a demolitions expert, working to sabotage the spread of the alien presence and protect his community.
Fiercely anti-corporate, he has a grudge against SunCorp™ for the way they’ve been handling their environmental practices.
He also has a bit of a thing for artsy redheads.

Viola

The Rogue
A high-level hacker with a focus on stealth and infiltration.
Viola is trying to track down her partner who was lost during the chaos of the alien infestation. She knows more about the communications networks than anyone else, but she’s a bit of a loner – happy to follow her own path and only help others when it directly benefits her.

Hawk

The Mercenary
Hawk’s services don’t come cheap, but their value can’t be overstated. High damage. High durability.
A man of few words.

Nim

The Nemesis
The leader of the Hell Spiders – a gang of punks running a protection racket on the vulnerable township on behalf of SunCorp™.
Like Shai, he comes from a lineage of the earliest settlers, but Nim’s desire for respect and influence has led him down a darker path. Ultimately, his heart is in the right place, but his actions are anything but.

SunCorp Representative
Athena is Old Town’s liason for the sinister SunCorp.
With a bright and friendly personality, Athena wants to make sure that Old Town is as beautiful as possible!
Help her out by healing plants and repairing broken objects around town!

Bossman

Repair Crew Chief
His name is Alan, but you can call him the Bossman!
He’s the chief of the Babyl Moon maintenance team, whose job is to repair anything that has fallen into disrepair.
His quests will have you gathering materials and delivering them to locations to open new pathways to explore!

A stubborn little punk.
King Rat is the leader of the Moon Rats — a group of kids who deal in secrets and hidden things around Babyl Moon.
Maybe you can earn his favour with a few tacos?

Always ready with a smile, Venn runs the corner store in Old Town.

Want to hire Hawk? You’ll have to go through Snake.
A stern and serious businessman, he knows the value of what he offers and he won’t make it easy for you.

Porkchop

A Pig??
Penny can’t manage all the PorkChop Express franchises AND still have time to go on adventures with Zero, so her sidekick Porkchop will help you with your cooking needs.
He’s a pig. This has to be some kind of health and safety violation.

Bill the Bard

Travelling Musician, Secret Revolutionary
The voice of Babyl Moon, who is working on a song to unite the people against their corporate overlords.
Help him craft verses and stir the revolution!
